While searching for a cute image to use while tracking my financial goals, I came across this adorable image from theoklahomemaker. I am crazy about Mason jars so this will be perfect for me as I take the items from my dream board and turn them into reality.
The love of my life I are empty-nesters embracing our goals and dreams that we had put on hold until this stage of our life. You may be in a different stage of life. Perhaps you are deep in your family raising years or maybe you are a young professional. Regardless of where you are, create a dream board. Take one item from it and create a financial goal to achieve it. We are not promised tomorrow, so don’t put your dreams on hold. Seriously, they don’t have to remain a dream.
Once you know how much money is needed for your goal, assess your current budget. Can you set aside some funds each month from your current income? Do you need a part time job for a few months to achieve this goal? If you look in your closet or basement, you may find things you can sell online and may be surprised how quickly the cash can add up. Facebook and LetGo app are my favorite places to sell my stuff. Retail and restaurant jobs are plentiful in most cities and offer hours that you may be able to work around your current life commitments.
With a nod to one of my biggest supporters-Make it happen!
