Sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, are things I am plagued with all year, unless I take allergy medicine on a daily basis. I’ve tried natural remedies to no avail and spending $30.00 per month on allergy medicine was hard to swallow. That means that I was spending $359.76 per year on the stuff and I can think of better things to spend that kind of money on. I am all for store-brands and so I began purchasing the Walgreen’s version of my allergy medicine and trying to gain bonus points on my savings card. I was still spending the same amount however.
One day while in the Dollar Tree to purchase pain medication, I noticed a little green box that said “Compare to Active Ingredients in Zyrtec.” 14 pills for just $1.00! Say what? I tried it out and the only difference I notice is in my pocketbook. I now spend a mere $24.00 per year and SAVE my family $335.76. Uh, huh. That’s more like it.
